APEC - Action on Pre-Eclampsia   Action on Pre-eclampsia (APEC) is a UK charity set up in 1991 to ease and prevent suffering from pre-eclampsia and improve care and understanding of the condition.

ARC  ARC is the only national charity that provides non-directive support and information to parents throughout the antenatal testing process. Their role is to help parents arrive at the most appropriate decision for them in the context of their family life.  ARC offers information and support to parents who are making decisions during the antenatal testing process and those who are told that their unborn baby has an abnormality and are having to make difficult decisions about continuing the pregnancy.

Home Birth Reference Site   The aim of this site is not to persuade you to choose home birth, but to provide information about home birth, for parents who think that it might be the right choice for them, and for health professionals looking for facts and ideas.  Includes a wonerful section for older mothers.

Contact La Leche League   Our aim as an international charity is to help mothers to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education. We also aim to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.

La Leche League Leaders are accredited breastfeeding counsellors who take helping calls and lead monthly breastfeeding support groups throughout the country (and worldwide).
